Common questions
Apps or websites aren’t being blocked
Enkrateia blocks through Apple’s Screen Time. Make sure you granted Screen Time access when prompted, then open the app and re-select the apps you want blocked (Onboarding → “Select apps,” or Settings). Blocking only works on a real device, not the Simulator.
I can’t delete an app
If you turned on “Prevent app deletion”, that lock applies device-wide while a program is active. It’s optional and off by default — turn it off any time in Settings → Blocking, and you’ll be able to delete apps normally again.
Subscriptions, purchases & refunds
Enkrateia is a one-time purchase with lifetime access, billed through your Apple ID. Purchases, billing, and refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. To restore a purchase on a new device, use Settings → Restore purchases.
Delete my account and data
Open Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers. You can also email [email protected] and we’ll confirm deletion by email.
Accountability partner emails
If you added a partner, they receive a small number of program milestone emails. To stop them, remove the partner in the app or email us and we’ll remove them within 10 business days.
My journal entries
Journal entries are encrypted on your device and the key never leaves it. That means we can’t read them — and if you lose or wipe your device, encrypted entries can’t be recovered.
